A firey wine cellar?
The fertile soil and mild climate make the Kaiserstuhl one of the most outstanding vineyard areas in Germany. First we visit the charming city of Breisach high above the Rhine with its two famous champagne cellars. Will we be able to continue with our trip without a visit to the cellars? If so, the next destination is the idyllic town of Burkheim which houses Germany's one and only cork museum. Finally we take a trip through the narrow loess lanes of the Kaiserstuhl and end the day in a local wine cellar (if we managed to ignore the sparkling wine!) Half-day trip: max. 5 hours Price: 180 €
